What you’ll do

We have an exciting and progressive opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our Community Pharmacy team. The team have a combined total of 45 years at EMIS and therefore have a wealth of knowledge to share with you – time spent in the sector is not essential!

As Business Development Executive you will successfully sell EMIS Community Pharmacy’s software services and hardware products to customers who operate within the retail pharmacy market in the UK. This will be done over the phone and remote dial in sessions in order to drives best practice and ultimately secure customers for the long term. Alongside outbound prospecting you will also capture and qualify enquiries, campaign leads and sales referrals and manage these within our CRM to maintain accurate customer data.

We want to speak to talent with tenacity, drive and a hunger to succeed in a commercial environment. You’ll be a self-starter with heaps of initiative and thrive in a team environment.
 

This sales executive role is a home working job with some requirement to travel to the Watford office on a fortnightly basis (maximum) for collaborative meetings.

Who you’ll be

  • Succesful time spent in a B2B sales environment beneficial but not essential
  • A customer centric approach
  • Fantastic communication skills and the confidence to liaise with a range of stakeholders 
  • An excellent team player
  • Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues throughout the business
  • Focused and driven to exceed targets and expectations
  • Organised, self-starter, with high levels of attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work to agreed deadlines
