What you’ll do

Reporting to our Group Delivery & Deployment Director, Cleveland Henry,  this role is responsible for the management of the Delivery Operations function within the Delivery & Deployment organisation across EMIS Group, the other functions, and therefore peers to this role, include Deployment & Migration, Engineering, Project Delivery and Training & Transformation.

 

A key part of the role is assuming a leading role in supporting the Group Delivery & Deployment Director with the rollout out the internal D & D strategy for Operations Delivery. You will be responsible for successfully leading your managers and teams to achieve high performance and key deliverables using strong project management methodology managing change and escalating where required, with significant revenue generating elements.

 

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

 

Who you’ll be

We want to make sure you’re set for success, so the key skills and experience we’re looking for are below:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of project management methodology and delivery
  • Succesfull time spent leading delivery, deployment, engineering, project management, operations or training functions and creating high performing teams.
  • Significant knowledge and experience of strategic planning, implementing and managing large-scale delivery projects.
  • Experience of programme, and large-scale project and implementation management.
  • Fantastic communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent change management knowledge and skills.
  • Experience of budgets and delivery revenue management.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach direct reports.
  • Extensive experience of applying cost reduction strategies and ensuring costs are controlled via management of a budget.
