What you’ll do

Due to an internal career move we have an opportunity for a tenacious, proactive and solution focused Account Manager within our Community Pharmacy team. We’re the largest clinical software provider in community pharmacy, with 38% of the UK’s pharmacies relying on our products. Our industry-leading solutions are designed to help drive operational results for our customers whilst improving patient outcomes.

As Account Manager you’ll successfully develop your existing customer base of independent Pharmacies and Pharmacy Groups, whilst driving growth through new business opportunities. You’ll utilise your existing sales experience and techniques in order to sell directly to decision makers, which will vary depending on the size of the business and therefore your ability to communicate effectively at all levels is key!

This Account Manager role requires a proactive person committed to solution selling with excellent commercial acumen and a wealth of initiative. The Community Pharmacy Sales management team has a combined total of 45 years spent at EMIS and are keen to speak to talent from any sector. The importance is your ability to sell, we will teach you the rest!

This is a field based role with the requirement to meet with customers, attend trade shows out of hours (some evenings and weekends) and travel to our offices for team meetings and therefore you are required to have a full driving license. We are looking for talent in close proximity to our southern region which is Birmingham to London.


Who you’ll be

  • Successful time spent developing new business accounts
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • A strong understanding of the end-to-end sales process
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident in showcasing our products and services in front of customers
