Here at EMIS we have an excellent opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our health informatics team on a permanent basis.

 

This really is a unique opportunity to join a well-built talented Support team who are primarily responsible for the correspondence and processes within our EMIS Health Informatics Services (EHIS) to support the wider Informatics team.

 

We’re not looking for you to have clinical experience, but this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a varied administrative role where you will have full support from our Informatics team on our ways of working. Not only will you be responding and managing tickets into the Helpdesk, but also support the wider team ensuring that they can operate as efficiently as possible.

What you’ll do

 

As an Office Administrator you will be the first point of contact for the Helpdesk tickets, these queries are varied and you will follow ways of working to respond pro-actively. We would look to you as the Office Administrator to convert, maintain and update secure documentation within the clinical team.

You’ll be supporting the internal clinical team on internal requests from IT asset management to booking meetings for the department. We’re looking for collaborators who will work proactively with the wider team and external drug companies to ensure tickets are responded to within service level agreements.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Updating and maintenance of documentation for the Informatics & Development Team.
  • Responsible for the monthly production of internal and external customer documentation.
  • Housekeeping of the documentation folders within the team.
  • Responsible for completion of Timesheets within the team.

 

 

Who you’ll be

 

You will be an experienced Administrator, who can demonstrate solid accuracy and keen eye for detail when processing documentation. You will be a self-motivated with a track record of working managing multiple concurrent priorities with excellent organisational skills.

You will enjoy full support on training of our processes within the clinical team, but customer service will be at the heart of your communications whether to internal or external stakeholders. With excellent communication skills both written and verbal, you will be able to maintain excellent working relationships with internal and other 3rd party contacts.

Technical skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel (formatting and data input).
  • Ability to manage high levels of documentation with accuracy.  
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work within acceptable deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
